Activity 3

SCRUM Model
·                  The team that is going to develop the enrollment system of a particular school must take note of all the requirements that is needed.  From the stakeholders, objectives, resources, breakdown of task and all the way down to the users of the system developed.  The project team is also assembled and their SCRUM master is the one responsible for the success of the team.

·                    The development of the system is being started, not as individuals but as a team.  The SCRUM master must carefully assign the task and ensure that there is teamwork so that the development of the system is done in an orderly way to ensure that the output of the team is reliable.

·                     After the team has come up with a prototype, it must be presented to the project stakeholders and the users for further evaluation.  The project stakeholders and users play a big role in improving the overall capabilities of the system.

·         The system is now ready to be implemented with the approval from the project stakeholders.  Implementation does not guarantee 100% error-free but it will help in detecting further errors and help improve the system as a whole.

·                  After the final system is done and implemented, it must be maintained thoroughly to ensure that it is always operational and if there will be errors, it can easily be detected and fixed.  Maintenance ensures that the system is consistent on giving the users the functionality that it was designed for.  It is important that system maintenance is done consistently.

·                        The team can now celebrate after the success of the project.  The success of each member of the group will determine the success of the group itself.  Because in SCRUM method, the success of the group is more important than the success of each member.

Waterfall Model
Requirements:
·                   The team that is going to develop the enrollment system of a particular school must take note of all the requirements that is needed.  From the stakeholders, objectives, resources, breakdown of task and all the way down to the users of the system developed.

Design:
·                After the team has an overall view of the system, they must now carefully create the design from the system analysis and the design which includes the GUI or Graphical User Interface.  The Software Engineering which includes the database design.  After a prototype is made, it must be presented to the project stakeholders for approval for evaluation and to review the further improvements.

Implementation:
·                  After carefully evaluating the system, it must be approved for system implementation.  This phase is for the system to be further tested including its functionality and other elements so that it the users are ensure that it is operational.

Verification:
·              The implemented system can still further be improved after observing and evaluating it during the early parts of its implementation.  After the said changes are done, it will now be verified so that the final system will be opened to the users.  This time, the final system must be 100% operational to ensure up-time.  The project stakeholders must agree for the system to be verified if it is a success or a failure thus it will determine if it is to be implemented or disposed.

Maintenance:
·                 After the final system is done and implemented, it must be maintained thoroughly to ensure that it is always operational and if there will be errors, it can easily be detected and fixed.  Maintenance ensures that the system is consistent on giving the users the functionality that it was designed for.  It is important that system maintenance is done consistently.
